I'm not talking paid events or weddings, but more stock and prints?

If so, where?

I'm far from being in a position to ever sell, and I've only been published twice years ago, but it's an idea I'm flirting with.

I do sell mine. I started a little online shop during the covid lockdown and have complete control over the content. Designed the website too with the help of a colleague.

There are a few places to sell like smug, Etsy etc. but costs have increased significantly. It’s a very challenging time unfortunately

I have upload different themes to a stock site and not sold any thing in over 5 years !
Though I have sold locally in some galleries.

I sell most of my artwork at craft fayres. I try and attend one a month but it doesn’t always work out that way. The website does sell itself but that’s more a portal. There’s something rather satisfying having a customer buy a framed print there and then
The craft fairs near me are rather pricey for the pitches, so I am looking in yo sharing a pitch.

I've not done it, but my view would be there would be way more money in selling prints, than in selling stock photos. I don't think stock photo payouts are that large.

If I was to do it, I would get the photos framed nicely, and then look for local galleries and shops that would sell them on commission for you.

I have seen a few good photographers on Twitter that have prints for sale, and it will all be outsourced and done for them. This probably makes them a nice side earner but you need to have a large social media presence to make anything reasonable.

With Facebook bonus program they invite to to join were you get paid for views and interactions. It’s been ok for me.

Dan Is a cool guy I was on location with him a few months back.

I have had photos on a stock site for years and sold nothing.
However, I have sold framed fine art prints a 3 local venues, one which I regularly display and sell a print now and again.

This is all food for thought. Looking at my photos on Instagram I'm a ways from really selling anything but I'll keep at it. Just a small side thing for some drinks money on occasion I'm looking for really.

The age of making decent money from selling stock images is long past. It was a thing maybe 10-15 years ago. It's still possible to sell some art prints, but you have to be good, or at least have some contacts to help you display your work eg. local art gallery, newspaper etc.

I agree, Stock images boat has sailed many years ago, and that remines me I am going to upload and delete my stock image account. I have displayed framed Fine Art wildlife images in some local venues / galleries. Even this process takes a lot of time and there is no guarantee of any thing selling. It is all about promotion, being in the right place and the time.
