Do you shake hands?

As most of the people I know aren't plebs, I shake hands all the time. It's a nice way to greet somebody.

Pro tip - don't shake hands with a rock climber.

Thats got me thinking, in the work place I guess I would have no choice but to shake hands, but in a social situation I would simply blank them and let the body language do the work.

So in a social situation, when someone puts out their hand, and you had decided you would prefer not to shake it, you would simply stand there and blank them?

You would say nothing, and stand there like a statue until they... what? Until they left? I mean, where do you go from there? Surely that's the end of any interaction? What if they're a friend of your friend?

Is this how you make friends? Are you popular?

There is absolutely no chance that you caught that illness through something other than shaking hands with that man.

Now normally i don't, but on friday i shook hands with a big strapping polish lad, lo and behold two days later im here feeling like death.
So what are you saying? That you arent gay?:p

I'm not eastern european but I like shaking hands to friends. It's friendly amongst friends, and formal in professional situations.

Don't have a problem with shaking hands.
