Do you sleep less in summer?

It gets light very early, even though I have blackout curtains, light gets through the gaps. We also have an owl nearby that likes to twit twooohooo for hours on end, with it being hot, I have the window open which means the birds wake me up first thing.

All quite nice things to hear but it does mean I get less sleep.

Yeah, the dawn chorus wakes me up so that's about 4:30am at the moment. We can't close the windows either to keep the noise out as it's too hot.

We make up for it in winter though, when we tend to want to sleep until it's light, which normally later than my alarm then.

Yep,

In bed at say 11-12 ish and up and awake at 4-5.... :(

Got blackout curtains, but need to sort something around the edges its like a curtain HALO

I am woken up by the sunrise so I am having black outs fitted to our windows as I am really struggling to get more than about 4 hours a night at the moment, not good.

I do because it causes my RLS to play up more, Hopefully this time the DR will find something on my bloodd tests to help calm it down, but I'm not hopeful as I've had it since i was 17.
