I have a subscription to The Economist, and have a paper copy delivered weekly, with access to the online version. I like having a hard copy- just so much easier to read.

I also buy Viz regularly.

I therefore have a full range of news and culture.

Only mags I get now are the odd TV guide mag and the free food/supermarket ones you sometimes get with your shopping, like Ocado Life or the Sainsbury’s magazine.

I have 30 X 5.56 gtg always.
I might buy some more now you reminded me. Thanks.

I still subscribe to the paper edition of PC Pro. Must’ve been subscribed for 20 years now despite the fact I don’t work in IT! Great mag that’s worth supporting. I‘ll also pick up a copy of Linux Format and White Dwarf now and again.

Paper magazines are better reads than their electronic equivalents. I tried reading mags on my iPad but it was painful.

Parents buy a daily newspaper, though I think it's mainly for the tv guide.

I used to buy a computer magazine. I've bought private eye in the recent past. I'm still open to buying magazines if I find a good one.

I find magazines have a higher quality level than websites.

10 years ago I used to read a lot of newspapers daily, 4 nationals and 3 local/regional papers.

I was going to make a joke about needing to go to a "specialist store" to buy my magazine, then realised Computer Weekly went digital only over a decade ago.

Does occasionally getting an urge to go out and buy Computer Shopper count? So many adverts... so little money... those were the days!

Now if I want retail excitement I just open up the website page of graphics card prices and remember why I'm glad I switched to laptops.
