Do you think 27inch is too big for eSports?

I feel like i'm letting eSports sway what monitor i buy too much. Every day i'm changing my mind and it's holding me back from building a new PC. Any advice? Monitor recommendations are very welcome too!

Personally i would go for at least 2560 x 1440 IPS @ 144Hz or higher and a decent enough gfx card to drive the game at 144 fps. If you can't reach that fps then drop the game detail settings down for competitive shooter style games.

And thenewoc, a lot of people seem to say 27inch is too big unless you've got a large desk as your field of vision may be compromised.

I'd tend to agree. I've got a 35 ultra wide, and I really don't like FPS gaming on it.

27" 1440p is fine if you have a good size desk to make adjustments and its no way too large for FoV, twitch shooters will wear off on you in a few yrs anyway they are fun for a while but there is only so many time you can play CS de_Dust
