Do you think it is worth it to become Microsoft Azure and 365 certified?

I'm considering trying to take some exams to improve my knowledge and make my CV look a little better. Since Azure is going to be hosting my next project I thought doing some exams for that would be good and as I use Microsoft 365 for my business already it would also help me with that side of things.

Do you think these exams are worth it?

Thanks, both. I'll look into Microsoft Ignite. Bit of bad timing though as I'm pretty busy this month.

I got all excited because apparently you can take these exams online and at home but you need some special software to do it. Unfortunately, because I run Linux as my main operating system the only way I can use Windows 10 Pro is through a virtual machine and that isn't supported by the exam software. Not sure what to do. I can't switch back to Windows 10 as too much of my work requires Linux and I can't really go to the exam centres to take the exam either. I will be getting a new laptop at some point which I'd be happy to run Windows 10 Pro on but for the time being I guess I won't be able to do the exams.

Yeah, I might have to do that. I certainly want to take the exams as they would be a big boost to my confidence.

The way I look at it is that I probably need to learn some or most of this stuff anyway. I might as well get a certificate out of my own learning while I am at it.

I still need that Windows 10 laptop to be able to do the exam remotely, unfortunately.
