Hi,
My lovely gaming pc enjoys nothing more than pumping out VAST amounts of heat into my room! Now i dont mind to much as its november
.. but in the not to distant future summer will hit and my room is going to be like an oven!!!
This is my layout so far. 4 Fans one of the side, one of the bottom, one on the top and one at the back. the only one i have pumping air out is the top one. I would have one pumping air out at the back. but my CPU cooler needs a fan directly on it! (the back one pumps cool air in through the cpu fan then gets sucked out by the top fan) This is my question... would it be possible with a little DIY know how use a duct flex hose that connects to the top of my case (over my 2500RPM 80MM fan)(or a 2000RPM 120MM fan with an adapter that sllows you to connect it to a 80MM hole) and the other end of the tube hanging outside my window? I personalythink this should work! I read on a website about a guy doing this and using 5000RPM fan.. but my pc is noisey as it is lol. So what do you think? should this work? At the moment my GPU is pumping out more air at the back. I have found a fan tho that is a lot quiet that cools the air down and pumps the ait back into the case >< but hopefully it should all get sucked into the fan and out the widnow lol or at leats have %50 into the case and 50% out the back.
Now people have suggested water cooling but this would also leave me heavily out of pocket >< looked into water cooling was well over £100!!
thats why im going for the easy Plastic tube idea lol!
SO what ya think?
