Hi Everyone,

I got a question on my system,

I got a Intel I5 750 Standard Clock with 4 gb of Ram Corsair 1600mhz on a Asus Maximus Formula III board with a Nvidia 470GTX card.

Got a Intel 40gb SSD along with 64gb Corsair F60 SSD, 64 Patroit Torx 2 drive and WD Cavier Black 640gb 32mb Cache drive,

Do you think I could improve it anymore ?

Or just upgrade to something else ? As I'm starting to feel a upgrade itch comming along ?

Personally I would go for good cooling and an overclock.

But I do like running cards in xfire of Sli as the case would be here.

But your machine is fine, but that upgrading bug is a hard one to shift.

Does it do what you want it to do?

Yes the machine can be improved, but if you don't need that improvement now or in the near future I wouldn't bother, just wait until you do and you will no doubt be better off for it.

I know what it's like to upgrade for the sake of it, I've done it more than enough, but it is really just a waste of money when it's not needed.

It's not a bad machine really. The GTX470 is between a 560 and a 560ti, the processor is OK, better than a 955BE for gaming.

I suggest you wait for BF3 / next demanding game and see how it copes. Then you'll have a better idea about improving it. That will cost you a fair bob to get anything noticeable (2500K + GTX 570).

Hi, Thanks to those who responded to the post.

There is no real reason why I want to upgrade really, Just had the system over a year and really thought it could be time to upgrade again.
