Do You Tidy Your Power/Connector Cables?

Hi all,

I was amazed at the ammount of cables there were cluttered away behind my desk. Spent a good hour untangling them and haveing a good clear out.

Do you lot regulaly tidy all yours up?

Nope.

Only when I need to unplug something from my system do I realise how incredibly tangled things are...

There's probably a lesson to be learnt but ho hum

Must say im really glad i did tidy mine up. The PSU for the monitor was trapped underneth the desk and was incredibly hot.

I roll mine all up and tie them up, makes things loads easier.

I used to but I always seem to be moving things around which ends up in me cutting the ties up, I must say the vast amount of wires a desktop computer creates is the worst thing.

I would, but being a student I end up moving my stuff around every 2 1/2 months or so... so there's really no point. My desk is nice a clean, and the cables aren't tangled etc - they're just 'floating' around I guess...

I tidy them and they stay pretty neat until somthing goes wrong then i pull them all out and dont bother tidying them for another few months. ATM my router cable is a trip hazard across my room but I just can't be bothered to do anything about it.

I try to keep mine tidy as possible but my desk is more much of a mess than the cables behind it. Seems to get cluttered soon after I have cleaned it!

Tidied mine the other day after being lazy when I plugged everything back in last time. Labelled all my electric plugs after not knowing which one I could unplug when I needed one urgently

Was gonna label other cables, but got fed up of being sat under my desk.

My speakers have masses of wires and its just like a sea of neverending entanglements. Even getting to the back of my box is a hard enough job, nevermind getting out alive.
