Having a discussion with the wife, & apparently im weird for turning off mobile data when indoors, it seems quite a few in my tech field do.
Do you turn off mobile data when indioors?
be an interesting poll for sure

of course because of this the UK emergency alert was pointless
Reason i do this is its a waste of battery even with WIFI ON/ Network it still is cycling & wasting battery cycles

i have automation for
inside
BT off
WIFI ON
Mobile data OFF

Outside
BT ON
WIFI OFF
Mobile data ON

Doesn't it auto switch to WiFi data anyway? I have WiFi calling on.
It does BUT, if you leave mobile data on & have bad reception it will constantly scan for signal & waste battery, on my Pixel 6 i tested this & wasted 10% in a few hours
now on iphone which is far better but its just habit now days

Sounds like you need to change networks.

Also do you not use any Bluetooth devices at home? No BT earphones/headphones, no smart watch to sync etc.
Networks fine but p6 has a massive bug where you’d lose 40% battery in hours

But even without that, noticed a good 5-10% a day on average not massive but be on habit now days

BT wise in doors no I don’t use earphones I’m either on my pc or watching to by I rarely touch my phone when home maybe 15m over the weekend this week
