Does anyone on here watch Serie A with any sort of regularity? I know almost everyone who comes to this section watches the EPL with a good deal of regularity but I don't - I watch Serie A to that degree and some games from Serbia, Russia, Germany etc.

I'm not at all interested in stereotypical "I don't watch that boring defensive league" as it only serves to display your own narrow-mindedness and lack of knowledge.

Couldn't see a poll option

I watched it years ago on Football Italia on C4 when it was a very superior league. Not really any more. Our league is much more exciting in my eyes. Plus they're like the Spanish and Portugese, i.e. dirty great simulators.

I used to watch it when it was on Channel 5 and I thought some pretty good football was being played. I wanted to watch more of it but I just couldn't stand John Barnes so I stopped watching it.

:D Yes he was woeful. To be fair, the presenters were no better.

I'm not expecting many people on here still watch it or care for it much given the fact it isn't at its best presently. I'm just wondering if there's going to be any point me making posts about it if nobody is going to care :p

Even if you wanted to wanted to watch Serie A, do any of the freeview channels air Serie A game or highlights? I know Channel 4 used to have a program which showed highlights from leagues around the world, do they still do that?

ESPN show TV coverage.

Bet365, BetFair, Sky Bet, Ladbrokes' streaming service and at least one other show 3-5 matches per round and the stream quality isn't at all bad. You need to register with all but don't have to put money in your account or put a bet on to use the service with Bet365; think its the same with BetFair.

I used to watch it when Football Italia was on Channel 4. Back then Serie A was great, loved it.

Haven't watched it in years - probably because its not on TV as much more then anything.

Yup, used to watch it a lot with the guy whose name I can never remember, Trans World Sport followed by the italian football program/roundup on sunday mornings(or saturday, been so damn long I can't remember). Since then its never been on anything with any regularity so stopped watching it, it was barely on for a couple years, then was on C5 which was awful, then I can't really remember.

I watch the very odd game now and then but I don't particularly like Serie A anymore from what I see and not many teams I like. It went through a long period where many players were completely overhyped(not exactly only Serie A that has that problem) but I found people gushing over Totti, Pirlo, Kaka to be irritating, and I have to say I've always despised the Inzaghi's and a bunch of other players in the league.

It'd be easy taking bets as to how many members here have something good to say about it.:p

Most will slate it, some with valid reasons, most joining the bandwagon. lol.

Yip I watch it on ESPN.

But I did have to switch off at half time in tonights game as it was terrible.

Although I wouldn't have dreamed of turning it off, I can totally understand that. The main interest for me was Cesena as I've not been able to watch Serie B the last three years although I believe I'll be able to do so this season. The likes of Ezequiel Matias Schelotto are of great interest to me.

I remember watching Football Italia as a little kid with my dad :) It used to be on early in the morning on channel 4 and the 'GOOOOOOOOOOALACIO!!!' always stuck out in my mind.

I enjoy Italian football, very much so.

I love Gattuso as well :)

I don't think it's "that" bad either.

It's not far off the Premier League, it just lacks the speed and pace.

I watch it occasionally

I think the reason why Serie A gets slated (In part) is because a lot of the players are technically very good so teams often cancel each other out. In the Premiership, a players lack of technical ability is often replaced with 'Passion' & 'Pride' Etc

The Bundesliga I find to be very entertaining from a neutrals point of view. Some cracking football and the atmosphere at the grounds looks to be really good.

Inter Milan were fun to watch on friday. They play again on monday night.

La Liga is much better. Real and Barca games are on tonight back to back on sky sports 1.

German league is also really good. Bayern lost yesterday 2 nill with two goals being scored in less than a minute. :/

Right now on espn leverkussen are losing 3-1 to monchengladbach in the first half. Good stuff.
