I feel like the only person who dislikes, and tries to avoid any trailer for films I know I am going to watch.

I think they spoil more than they should. Especially those small, funny moments.

Anyone else avoid them?

Ever since Johnny English, yes. I'm pretty sure that I saw every single funny moment from that film in the trailers.

I watch the first proper trailer for a film, if it's a film that I'm not sure about, then that's it. Too many follow up trailers are released giving more and more away.

Recent trailer trends are stupid, give far too much away. I presume ad companies have found that by giving more away then more people watch it or some nonsense like that.

As a result I may watch the teaser or a sub 2 minute trailer. Anything over that and I'll just read a synopsis and take a chance based on subject, director and cast.

I go to the cinema nearly every weekend so still see trailers, these days they do give too much away but some still leave a lot to think about i.e Star Wars trailer.

Can't stand watching films without watching the trailer. Need to know what I'm watching and what frame of mind to be in. However I do agree far to much is revealed in trailers and far to many of them. We only need one per film. And don't stick the best bits in.

I hate trailers from the last 5 years or so, they reveal way too much. If there's a big film coming out in October, I will avoid the cinema from Jan until the release date to avoid seeing any spoilers.

I've been to the cinema a lot recently. But I just use the toilets when a trailer of a film I want to see comes on. Or I arrive just before the actual film starts.
