As much as she is a pain, and the game can be sooo frustrating i like them for doing it!
It reminds me of how hard Ninja Gaiden could be, and how many times i almost ate my controller with anger!
But the rewards of bragging...worth it
personally i think the game would be better if the characters actually had to fight a proper bad guy, some 1 thats related to the character like some of em are. Most just end up against alpha 152, its as if they couldnt be arsed to do much of a story "o i know we just add this boss make it for nearly all the characters except these few"

Got 57 with Elliot in Survival last night.
Also managed to unlock Tengu and complete all the Time Attack achievements yesterday
Alpha seems a lot easier in Time Attack mode, quite regularly I beat her first time with barely getting hit, maybe I'm just getting better but to play through time attack using a character I've only used once and beating her first time it just seems she is set to an easier difficulty in Time attack
Also managed to unlock Tengu and complete all the Time Attack achievements yesterday

i find her easier in story then in time attack, hehe
i only need Gold with Tag in Time Attack, not tried for a while mind.
58 with Elliot now 
Don't know why but with him I can do survival quite easily whereas with my favourite characters (Christie in particular) with whom I can do Time Attack and Story mode easy, I just can't do survival mode with them

Im also a Christie fan
ive been reading the message boards at gamefqs.com - some guy who got 100wins three times in a row. He uses Ryu, and does some kind of juggle move which the AI rarely if ever counters... gonna try it when i get back to uni.
