Domain transfering

Hi,

I recently transfered a domain from myorderbox.com to godaddy.com.

When I put in the transfer request for the domain I instantly got the notification with the secret code in it. I entered that code into godaddy and it seemed to go through fine.

After that I heard nothing... no further emails, domain didn't change, no domain change on myorderbox.com... nothing (I've waited 2 days now).

Anyone got any idea what has happened please?

Thanks,
Craig.

Aw, the myorderbox.com system rocks (I use a very similar setup) - check the domain is unlocked; if it is no problem, wait a few more days and the transfer should complete :)

Also check the Admin-C e-mail address on whois :)

Myorderbox system is good, but it only lets me pay through paypal which is no good :(

We signed up for it for our free hosting but never really used it, registered a few domains onto it through our reseller account (including this one im trying to get off them) but now I'm unable to renew it on myorderbox.com because it requires paypal and I can't get any money into that :(

Anyway, emailed Godaddy about it, they replied within about 10 mins saying:

Thank you for contacting Online Support.

A request to transfer {Overclockers might tell me off if I keep the link here!!!} has been submitted to the domain's Registry. The Registry will contact the current Registrar to make a final verification of the transfer. At present we are waiting on them to respond to this request. Some Registrars will try to verify requests of this kind before accepting them. Be sure to respond to any correspondence from your current Registrar in a timely manner or they may hold the domain. However, if the Registrar does not respond for a period of 5-7 days, the Registry will release the domain to us. This is what happens with many Registrars, so it may be a few days before the transfer is complete. Once Go Daddy has been informed of the outcome we will let you know.

Basically, if myorderbox.com doesn't reply within 7 days godaddy will take the domain anyway :D

Seems to all be sorted now (will have to wait another few days though :()

EDIT

lol, just noticed my thread title, can somebody correct it for me please?

THanks,
Craig.
