Dock compatibility

Hi,

I've just been asked what iPods are compatible with the dock on a SONY CMTMX750NI. Having not owned any iPods I'm not sure. I think it wont work with a Shuffle or Nano.

Is this correct?

I think that only the shuffle wouldn't be compatible since all other iPods should use the same dock connector.
