Looking for a dock/port replicator for a Dell ultrabook (e7270). There seem to be plenty with either USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 which suggest that some are probably older models that just happen to be compatible? Also will it work with the existing power adapter or do they need a minimum of 130W to work?

I used to run mine off the standard DELL 65W PSU. It only had to run a little Latitude E4200. Still have them both, don't really use the dock. Have you go MM access yet? (Stick up a Wanted thread.)

Old models will still work, you can run any PSU but better off running slightly higher than needed with all the extra USB ports.
With the newer laptops I'd get a cheap docking spacer (not from Dell £30 for a tiny bit of plastic!). Not essential, but better on the dock connector according to one of the Dell folk that came in for a repair one day.

Thanks guys. Didn't realise there was a separate section for sales etc. Managed to buy one for a tenner and seems to works ok with the standard PSU. Seems that the spaces is just a piece of plastic so not really bothered.
