Hi guys just got a new laptop a Dell XPS Studio 13, by god this laptop looks sexy :D plays WoW great and even Team Fortress 2 which is nice.

Well atm i have my main gaming pc which now has nearly 2 TB of music, pics and films (i know how can i have so much porn :p ). I also have a HTPC running from an old amd 3500+. The HTPC is a little slow when streaming DVDs, plays them fine but can take about 20 secs to show me all the films i have but it works.

Now i have my laptop, i was wondering if it is possible to buy some sort of docking station which will allow me to connect my laptop to it via e Sata or USB. The dock would need to handle a USB connection to a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Sound Card http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SC-064-CL&groupid=701&catid=11&subcat= this will allow my laptop to output sound to my AV receiver via an optical cable. I also would like the dock to be able to handle the data coming from my main pc via an Ethernet connection.

Also the dock will need a HDMI output or DVI :D

Does USB 2.0 have the band width to handle sound, HD films and the data being streamed or should i just consentraight on finding a dock with an e sata port?

I know i can just connect everything straight to my laptop but i would like it to be nice and easy to do, also i think it will look better lols.

Thanks ;)
