Doctor Who

Was thinking about this, Tom Baker at the end - I assume he is some future regeneration as he said something along the line of revisiting some old favourite faces. Given we know the first 13 Doctors now, Tom Baker is some post 13th Doctor regeneration. The Doctor didn't seem surprised that there was a future version of himself post the 13th version so maybe they'll just ignore the whole regeneration limit.

No, I am not so certain.
He was telling Smith to come back and see him 'there' some time, as he is the curator of the museum, so he can visit the old face sometime.

It is strange however, as a old man, Tom baker is still an older doctor, and thus should have been prior to the time war, and the time lock, he would have known of such events, but wouldn't know anything about 'a fall'.

the one line that stands out for me is when the Dr is about to do what he does and
all the Dr are flying in to do it, the general says it worst nightmare all 12 Doctors and his aid said in a suprised/confused voice "No 13"

That annoyed me as:

He should've said "13 & 14" as the War Doctor also introduced himself to them as the Doctor hence adding one more to the lineup of original 12!

I watched Eccleson's run which I loved, I liked Tennant and watched until it started going downhill... When Matt Smith took over I thought I'd try watching again but I hated it, far too silly really.

Ah okay so you had seen most of it. I didn't like Mat Smith at first, partly due to been a fan of Tennents Dr, but I liked him in the end. Has to be said I like the humour of the show (a little too silly at times) but for light entertainment it works for me. I loved SG1 and SG Atlanis and disliked SG:Universe for the same reason.

For anyone who likes Dr Who and hasn't seen Torchwood I would definitely recommend it.

What was the explanation for the images of multiple pre-Hartnel doctors shown in the Brain of Morbious brain fight?

About right for Moffat methinks. Talk about blink and you'll miss the change folks. & what about the trailers for the next series then
I did think the change was a bit snappy.

Weren't we told that this episode would answer, once and for all, the question of how there can be more than 12/13 regenerations? The answer is the companion tells the time lords to help him out?

I don't think it was as bad as some people are making it out to be but on the quality of The End of time it is was not.

Awful ... no. Decidedly mediocre ... most definitely.

With rare exception, Steven Moffat's Doctor Who has been pretty average. Don't get me wrong, he's written some really good scripts for shows, but I just don't think he should be in charge.

Usual yawn worthy crap with everything being tied up in a hurry in the last few minutes, as usual.

Yea its been his reliance on easy answers that seems to be hurting his scripts recently and this episode was no exception unfortunately, because of the nature of TV shows this will happen but at least when RTD used to do it there was always a price to pay for quick answers.
