DoD:S Mapping

I've decided to try my hand at a bit of mapping for DoD Source before the Ham and Jam mod is out.

Can anyone give me some good links for general mapping tutorials and DoD:S maping tutorials?

Cheers and any tips?

I'm on a new PC so don't have my links to hand, but (for once) I can actually give sensible advice if needed.

Edit: This is the one I started with

2nd Edit: Test as often as you can. Keep several saves. When there is a problem, there will be a problem.

Don't worry, my clan are a picky lot, If there is a problem with a map, they will complain about it.

Hi, i was a regular on the Mardymouse server and have some kind of experince in mapping, my best bet would be to post on thier and hope haircut replies, or take it onto the official dod forums where they are sections for custom mappers!

I mean a leak, something that stops the map working!

I've done a few maps, they take me forever to do as I love the little details. Anyway, as the above poster said, try those forums too.

www.snarkpit.net is a very good site for mapping, got loads of tutorials on there for HL+HL2 and mods.
