is dod:s much more graphics intensive then cs:s?

I used to love this game, I prefer this to CS nowadays, CS is just full of hackers delight.

Enjoyable buy yourself for some reason as well, people tend to play as a team more often.

Basically DoD:S is now on a better engine than CS:S. Its now on the modified Tf2-HL2 engine with the new particle detection system which #insert technical gibberish# works better...apparently anyway.

But besides the gun tweaks the fundamentals are exactly the same. I presume thats what everyone is moaning about. The basic gameplay which turns them off

I loved the original (managed to play the Alpha version about 4-5 years ago before the game wasn't even out!) but DoD source less so. Don't play clan matches but for the odd 30 min game every 2-3 days its decent. For 3 quid I don't see why someone would hate the game that much. Okay if you'd just splashed out 35 quid on it

I played the original dod for ages and it was brilliant - I've played source and its just as fun - absolute BARGAIN at 3 squid.

Its a free weekend so if you pre-installed dod for whatever reason it will be there ready to play till the weekend ends.
