dod:source worth the money?

Im looking for a game to play that ican just play when im bored ,ie coutnerstrike etc, but i want to try dod source, iLOVED medal of honor : allied assault many years ago (yeah, i rocked,serious) and wondered if this is anything like it? Do many people play it, or will i be paying $19 to play with like 50 people who are hardly on :rolleyes:

Is there anyway to trail it before i buy?

been playing for about an hour and half, died about 30times killed about 7 people :cool:

just had a game on dod_flash i think it was, i decided the best method was to do it the same way i played allied assualt....rambo style :cool:
