DoD won't open

Hi, i've had DoD for about a month and it's been a really good enjoyable game. But now whenever I click it on the steam menu or desktop shortcut. It appears on the taskbar but then closes after 5 seconds. It doesn't even reach the title screen.

This isn't something to do with it being free this weekend is it?

Have you varified the the game files on Steam? Is this Source or proper DoD you're talking about?

it's Day of Defeat source and I verified the files just now. Didn't help

I thought id try it whilst its free and lets just say i wont be buying. Once a game was loaded it would either close straight away to go back to title or play for 5-10mins n then crash :confused:

got fed up it so its deleted now before valve had time to take to off me

Thought i'd save making a new thread.

The problem i've had with DoD has been resolved but it now happens to Source Forts and Goldeneye. This really sucks
