Dodgy 360wifi connection?

Past few days (almost a week), been turning my 360 on only to be told it can't connect to the internet.

Running the tests says the USB Wifi connector isn't plugged in.

All I have to do is remove the USB cable, plug it back in and it works.

When I get the error, the light (either red or green) on the Wifi dongle isn't even lit.

Anyone else had this, or have any ideas what could be wrong?

I had this when I originally got it, not had it for over 8 months now though, didn't do anything to stop it, it just... did.

I sometimes get this too on mine, I think it's since the major update, seems fine now though.

Does it do it on the front USB ports? That is if the front usb's even support it...

That might help to narrow down if the problem is the wi-fi jigger or the port.
