Dodgy dell's

Many people have suffered the pain from dells. Slow loading times, plastic cover falling off the front, noisy hard drive and unrelibility. From my experiences of working at a computer repair centre basically all the computers that came in where dells. Share your story's here.

Preferably I like my hp's. I think all three computers in are house are hp's.

One laptop we had come in had literally fallen apart.

Optiplexs were a pain. When we were supposed to replace the hard drive we spent half an hour trying to put the front cover back on. Then cut our hand trying to route cables.

All you are paying for in an Alienware are the flashy lights. You can find better PCs for cheaper.

I think dell are sorting themselves out though. The dell inspiron is a good buy. I know many college students buy them.

According to PC gamer the dell U2412M monitor is there 2nd best.

Their best one is the AOC I2353FH for £138 even I think its a bargain.

But it is dell's choice to import cheap, noisy hard drives in order to gain a more reasonable profit.

If the hard drives they import in are slow then windows will slow as well.

I had a hp laptop for six years. Playing halo on it for hours on end whilst resting it on a cushion did it no good but it carried on before it went pop!
