Greetings,

Thank you for pre-purchasing World of Warcraft: Cataclysm via Battle.net! We hope you’re looking forward to experiencing everything that this new expansion will bring to Azeroth.

We are getting in touch with you regarding a small labelling error you may notice in your credit/debit card or bank statement relating to your purchase of Cataclysm. Instead of listing the purchase as “WoW Cataclysm”, it may instead be listed as “WoW+BC+Wrath+Cataclysm”.

Do not be alarmed! This is a simple labelling error and you will only be charged for the purchase of Cataclysm. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Sehr geehrte Kundin,
sehr geehrter Kunde,

Salutations,

Merci pour votre précommande de World of Warcraft : Cataclysm via Battle.net.

Saludos,

¡Gracias por reservar World of Warcraft: Cataclysm vía Battle.net!

No offence, but it's not asking you to click any links or send an email containing X details, so where's the problem?

Just ignore it, it's just telling you some information after all...

No offence taken,im just very parnoid now with emails for good reasons as ive said in OP

I had like 7 emails from "blizzard" contacted the actual blizzard from an alt email and they said it was a scam. So i just added emails to my block list, no more for a few months now.

How do you lose these accounts?
Are the passwords the same on every site? Or are you modding the client and installing custom skins?

Were you keylogged? If so what did you install to get the keylogger?
Or was it simple phishing?

I like to hear the answers to such questions as it informs others, who will not fall for the same scam later.
Its like each time we hear of a steam account being , we encourage the people who havn't to IMMEDIATELY verify their account, so nothing can be changed without them getting an email regarding it.

I honestly don't know but it always involves when ArenaNet or Blizzard try to improve their authentication system. ArenaNet started to use some service called PlayNC and we all had to transfer our accounts over so I lost mine. Blizzard now transferred everything to BattleNet and same thing happened, I just think I'm really unlucky tbh, I don't mind as at least I don't play either games anymore and they were a waste of time :D
