Hey: I bought a Galaxy 7600GT PCI-E a couple of months back but the fan on it has started to, well, die. When the right way up it can't spin... but on its side (the PCs state now) it can, but noisily grrrr.

Is there a place I can buy just a replacement fan for it? I've seen lots of full changing of the heatsink and fan for a graphics card, but not just the fan on it.

Here is a picture of it. As you can see, the fan doesn't have the borders that regular fans do: and is attached with a couple of screws here the hub of the fan. I'm worried that I may have trouble getting a replacement? Any suggestions? Cheers

Bearings in fan must have been duffers. :( Well anyhow the 7600 PCI-E cards are easy enough to get aftermarket coolers for (e.g - Zalman do some), however owners of 7600 AGP cards are the ones fresh out of luck iirc?

Never seen those type of fans on the market, will probably save you some touble to just replace the whole heatsink.

Cheers: was kinda hoping there would just be a fan somewhere that would fit this card; I think I've used my PC money quota on getting an X-Fi sound card! But looking around can't find any fan on its own that would fit. Must be one somewhere, surely!

Anyway I will take a look at the vf900cu tho if the search continues to fails. Cheers :)
