I have a 256mb 3850, had some artifacts in games
tried ATItool

as soon as i do ANYTHING - change speeds, test, scan for artifacts, it freezes the computer

tried ATI and Omega drivers..
 
could the ATItool have a bug in it?
I would do delete it try changing the speeds etc to make sure that it is for defo the sortware.
Then try downloading the latest or a older version see if that helps.
