Dodgy Macbook Power Adapter

They should be able to sort it on the spot if they're happy. Might want to send it off if they're concerned it might happen to others though.
 
Sometimes the light on my charger won't work.

But if it has stopped working and there is visible damage then take it straight back to Apple and they will sort it for you.
 
There was a recall / problem with the newer smaller adapters.

Frankly, if the prongs are stuck in the MacBook then I'd demand a replacement (obviously if it's within the first 28 days)
