Dodgy memory

Hello all
I was having a bit of trouble getting memtest to work (just hangs at 'Loading.......') so instead I tried Windows Memory Diagnostic.
I tried each stick individually and all were fine except one which showed a number of errors even in the first pass (failed the WMATS+ and WINVC tests).
My memory is 2 kits of Corsair XMS3 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 (1600MHz) Tri-Channel (TR3X6G1600C9) - so a total of 12gb.
I'm just figuring out what's best to do now.
I ordered the kits on 20th November from Overclockers. Should I get in touch with them or go direct to Corsair?
Also, it only seems to be one stick that is faulty, but I'd probably have to return the whole three stick kit right? Trouble is the two kits have got a bit mixed up now - I just see them as six sticks - I don't know which three were originally in which kit.
Any help would be very welcome :)

Corsair RMA now methinks - unless it was part of a pre-built machine/overclocked bundle?

I don't think that each individual 3x2GB kit has distinguishable identifying marks from the next 3x2GB kit. Assuming that to be correct, the fact that 2 kits are mixed together should not be a problem - just make sure you return the bad stick + 2.

Yes, you will probably have to return the entire kit, see here for Corsair's RMA policy

Thanks for the reply ejr22
Here's a funny thing though..
I finally got Memtest to work, (had to temporarily disable AHCI in bios), and every memory stick checked out successfully!
Is this odd?
Admittedly I only ran one pass, but in Windows Memory Diagnostic, that one memory stick showed errors within about 40 seconds.
Which test is the most reliable? Should I disregard the Windows Memory Diagnostic results?
What should I do - run memtest for longer? How long?
And should I use the standard tests?
Look at me with all my questions! :)
Any thoughts would be very appreciated!
Thanks

ive lost faith in memtest, i had some dodgy ocz memory, my pc would lockup, reboot itself randomly, memtest passed it as fine, prime blend wouldnt run long though, in the end i rma'ed the ocz and it was found faulty, swapped to corsair and everything is as it should be
