I had a spare phone, a HTC U11, which I absolutely loved to be honest. That was until the day I ejected the SIM card and only half it came out, leaving the rest of the tray inside the phone. For it's age, the phone was in good working order and suited me down to the ground. Yes the battery was showing signs of age and the screen had a small crack on the side, but for a spare phone this didn't bother me. The phone is pretty much useless now, after removing the back cover to try and remove the remainder of the SIM tray. Although it turns on, nothing is shown on the screen and it's going to need a new SIM reader if I can get it working.
So I'm looking my options for a replacement phone, preferably with a 4K camera. I honestly thought that 4K was the norm these days, but looking at new phones it seems that I'm wrong. I'd have to spend around £200-250 just for that 4K goodness. So I started looking for a second hand U11, but they are mostly in bad condition, such as a cracked screen (far worse than my phone's crack).
So I'm going to ask what everybody else thinks. If I can't get 4K for about £150, then I'd want optical zoom at least.
