Gone through so many computers and bits over last week and I'm finding it hard what to keep for myself lol.

So right now as I don't plan on anymore computers for awhile I've left myself with 2 of the better mobo combos I've had in my job lot so to speak.

They are

Asus M4A78LT-M-LE with 2(2x1gb) or 4gb(single and slower)ddr3 with a phenom ll x4 050e quad

Asus p5n e sli with 4x1gb ddr2 and c2d e6400

I was hoping the Asus sli had a better processor looking at the inside, but oh wel. It's powered by a 500w cooler coolermaster psu and has raid over 4 hdd's and all fitted inside an old looking coolermaster Acts case.

The other Asus is in my.Nxzt case with the corsair cx 430w'80 plus bronze '

So to my question, would I be silly to sell my quad(1st ever too) or does that board being alittle newer offer more of the older Asus? I think I will keep the old coolermaster case and sell the Nxzt for simple size and how must space the Nxzt takes up and jus swap things round if need be.

It's purely to game aswell(need to sort gpu out) as I recently got myself a dell 755 usff with windows 7 professional with the rest and I like it, I might even put the os on my gaming rig.

do you mean a Phenom II x4 550 ? personally i'd sell that one and overclock the e6400, asus P5n e was a great board i owned one for many years.

Thanks for reply..

Well in bios it says phenom llx4 050e but when I Googled it apparently it's an updated version of another type, dont know how that works but that's what it is lol. I haven't put an os on that one to test the board out nor the sli Asus actually.

Don't know if you saw my last system, but I had an hp 775 with E6550 core2duo and 4gb ddr2, this 6400 much weaker? Ironically I recently sold a E6700 I didn't think I would ever use and now I.could've lol.

Mean the Asus is a better board by far.

Right okay, so let's say I keep the sli Asus, should I trust the coolermaster psu that's like 10 or so more watts At 12v or use my corsair that is brand new and powered up about 4 or 5 times in 2 weeks?
