Does a Lumia 635 as default backup phone contacts to cloud.

My Lumia 635 is faulty and needs to be repaired. I have the OneDrive setup so I can automatically see picture etc on a Windows PC. The question does it automatically backup your phone contacts also.

I can answer my own question. I have just logged into OneDrive and selected people option, all my contacts are there along with phone numbers.
