Does -advmethods make any difference?

Currently running 5.04beta console. There is an option for -advmethods in the config, but this seems to make no difference to either the config file or the service. I thought I'd read somewhere that advmethods doesn't make any difference anymore/on new versions? Does manually adding it to the service or config file work?

Edit, reckon adding it manually to the service is the best idea.

Got it on in the service path now. I thought it was strange that adding it in the -configonly made no difference. I ran -configonly with advmethods as no, copied the config and checked the service, then removed the service and config file and chose yes. There was no difference between config files or service paths.
