So i purchased a 4gb R9 380 the other day which performs well, even cyberpunk 2077 works though 20-25fps and BO6 does eventually run after its freezes and lags and runs like on xbox with 40-50fps, however when i got it i thought being a popular card in its day and went up against the 970 that released a year before, it would have better support than it does.

last driver was 2022 yet the 970 is still supported even if it might be end of the line id imagine now.

Has this just been typical amd or was the 380 not as good as i thought it was, so they wasnt bothered to support it any longer?

Here is a tip for you. Research before buying on the 2hand market. I don't mean it in a rude way but a sincerer way. You can give these modded drivers a try but it's at your own risk. Remember to read the instructions! :=). They used to have a dedicated website but I suspect that got to expensive to keep up.
