Does AMD Control Center let you down-rev drivers? Constant crashes

Ever since going to the latest drivers I've had full on crash-to-black with fans going mad.

Been looking and googling on how to downrev the drivers but to no joy. Sorry if this is a simple question but it's the last time I go to latest drivers (on 20.9.1 now)

A bit of info about your system will help the people on here to give you some advice and things to try.

Have you tried the latest 20.10.1 driver?

When you're installing, have you tried clicking the "Additional Options" > "Factory Reset" option?

Just installed the 20.10.1, will see if it helps.

It's a Vega64 Sapphire.

Does the factory reset helps if you have not really tweaked anything? It's stock.

20.9.1 is still listed (as well as 20.11.1 to go up from 10 as a test).

Use DDU to uninstall and pop 20.9.1 back on

dont use DDU just makes stuff worse. just remove normally and install new drivers

When you install the driver there is an advanced option to do a factory reset which will uninstall the previous driver, reboot and then it will continue to install the driver.

AMD also do their own clean up tool...

DDU at a last resort but it's rarely if ever needed to go that far imo.
