Does an AIO with a silent pump exist yet?

Looks like I'll be sticking with my Silver Arrow for a while then. I've been wanting to put an AIO cooler on for ages but hate fan noise!

Thing is I want to rebuild in a smaller case which may be a mare with the SA!

Fan noise isnt really anything to do with the AIO cooler thats more how good the actual fan is and how quiet it is. Plus any sensible person has it connected to a fan controller so you can adjust it to suit your tastes.

I have a NZXT AIO for the CPU and a EVGA Hybrid for my Gigabyte 1080 FE and I've got the window open and I can hardly hear the fans in my case and I have got 5 and two pumps!

Also people who post about this also forget to mention where they put the case. If its on a desk next to them then cause its going to be much louder because its at ear height and going to be difficult to mask. Mine is under the desk bottom right so you have to take into account where you put your case too !

About Vardars i have 2 of them on antec kuhler 620 and they do emit some kind of whine which is a bit anoying, might look into other fans, but also I am looking to buy predator 240

Fan noise on CLCs has everything to do with them, not just their fans.CLCs use cheap aluminium radiators that require very dense fin spacing and high airflow to cool properly. .. this means high speed / high flow fans that make lots of noise are needed to supply the needed airflow. While changing to better fans can help a little, it almost always means lower speed fans with lower airflow which results in less cooling ability.

You did not mention the pump noise problems or water gurgling / aquarium sounds. The pump can be easily heard on CLCs from about a meter away, even at idle .. and usually so can the water gurgling.

No, the noise is not 'louder' at 'ear height'. The noise level being generated is the same as it is under the desk. it's just placed where we hear it easier. :p
