Does an Intel warranty pass on upon resale?

I bought a retail/boxed i7-6700K in March 2016 and I believe Intel offer 3-year warranties with their boxed CPUs.

I am now selling the CPU on eBay UK (no original box, no original cooler).

Can the warranty pass on to the seller? If so, how do I go about it?
