Guys am looking at upgrading from my pioneer VSX-920 AV receiver to one that has more HDMI inputs
But i want to make your am a little future proof for when I buy a new 4K TV so am looking for a AV receiver that has v2.0 HDMI inputs/outputs

Is there any available yet and if yes can you recommend any ?

Thanks..

Most of this years models, at least the higher end ones have HDMI 2.0 support, though some have full bandwidth support but no HDCP 2.2, and others have HDCP 2.2 but are limited to the same bandwidth of HDMI 1.4.

As the spec has only just been finalised as far as I know, I wouldn't be buying anything this year in the hopes of being future proof.

I have no doubt in my mind that all the major AV receiver manufacturers will have these specs of HDMI 2.0 support & HDCP 2.2 in a few of their more expensive 2015 models. Bearing in mind that the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is only a few weeks away (Jan 6th-9th) I would think that most of them will be showcasing their 2015 models there along with the latest features. I would trawl the US tech sites & forums about that time (AVS Forums, HTS forums, a couple based across the water for example ) to see whats released. I would then wait until the spring to buy one, as that is usually the time they become available to buy over here. :)
