Does anybody add stuff to chips?

Hi all

Going shopping later and will be getting the usual oven chips but I was thinking of adding more flavouring to the standard chip. We usually have salt and vinegar but I saw a video yesterday of someone adding parmasan and coriander, does anybody have any preffered choices when it comes to adding flavour?

I was thinking maybe some peri peri salt or mix a few together...

Peri peri salt or Cajun normally.

I've seen Nandos salts but I'm guessing I'll be able to get a cheaper one from ASDA later

The Nando’s stuff isn’t that expensive really, you got a Rio’s or Pepe’s near you? They usually sell the bottles of their peri salt over the counter, decent size bottle for £2.99.

Ohhh really, yes we have a Rio's, I'll will grab a little bottle later at asda, give our chips a different taste for tonight and then get a big bottle next time I'm near Rio's, can't moan at that price

Bread and butter.

Good old fashioned bread and butter..

Smoked paprika and sea salt sometimes. Also addicted to Sriracha sauce at the moment, goes with everything!

Smoked paprika is a good shout, not tried Sriracha sauce before, what's that like?

The missus just walked up to the chippy for tea, cup of Gravy I will put on this tonight and plenty of salt and vinegar

do like most chinese do. chop some garlic , peppers, birds eye chillis ( about a £1 for a bag) and a onion. then lightly fry and add in cooked oven chips give em a minute light toss . then serve. very simple but really tasty. im doing it this week.

Sounds simple and pretty tasty tbh... May give that a go, cheers bud
