Over the years I have frequented a number of hotels with the same photo on their walls that seemed to embedded themselves in my brain. Approximately a week ago I found myself looking at the inspiration for the photo and attempted to take the shot. Unfortunately for me I neglected to look where I was going and inverted my ankle by falling in to a four foot deep ditch. Despite getting the photo I am now looking at an eight week recovery time before I will be able to walk properly again. Has anybody else had any mishaps due to spending too much time looking through a lense and not enough time looking where they were going? Curiously the hospital Doctor told me the majority of her patients were health and safety experts.
