Does Anybody still play Bad Company 2 ?

Picked this up today for a change (never bothered with it 1st time round) and downloaded the latest MP update.

Tried to play MP and it says no games could be found, this was on any game mode or map. Any ideas ? I tried the Vietnam upgrade again and it says its already downloaded so its definitely installed

I would've thought people still played this game, even if it was just the Vietnam dlc. Maybe you tried at a bad time. Try to install all of the mp updates.

My friend and I tried BC2 on PS3 again several months after BF3 had been out (and ended up being a disappointment), and it was dead. I can only assume that most of the servers were taken offline because it was impossible to find a decent game, and even exiting and rejoining would land you in the same server most of the time.

Still plenty of people playing it on PC though.

Guess there is just nobody playing it. Oh we'll only paid £4 for it so will play the SP

Strange. My step father still plays BC1 and always gets a game so you'd of thought there would have still be people playing BC2.

They still have active servers as there is no sign on EA server list of them being shutdown.

I did play BFBC2 a few months ago on the PS3 but it was very quiet and felt awkward to play.

Picked up Bad Company 1 today for £2 and gave that a quick blast and the MP still works just fine for that.

Can't for the life of me get BC2 multiplayer to work however. Wonder if its because its match making and needs other players without the VIP code with the map packs and there aren't any because everybody has the VIP codes with the map packs.

I play it all the time on pc! No shortages of servers, o like it more than bf3

I really enjoyed the SP campaign in this game. Much better than the BF3 campaign.

Love the nam pack, but havent played it in ages.. The lack of prone used to bug me but as a whole i used to really enjoy the game.

Yeah the SP on this is pretty decent. BC1 SP too is worth a bash.
