does anybody use ceiling hooks/mounts for their cables?

been looking at these the last few days and reviews seem decent but a lot of reviews ive seen are "this company sent me these for free" so most reviews are probably biased.
these are the hooks in question.
KIWI design VR Pulley Cable Managment (search the rainforest for them as cant remember if im allowed to link)
fed up of the dogs running through the wires or lying on them so i cant move with out telling them to move along with the getting wrapped around the cable every few mins in certain games. if anyone uses anything similar what are you opinions on them?

I had them for my OG rift and they worked very well.

I have an S now in a different playspace (my lounge) and the other half unsurprisingly does t want them hanging from the ceiling! I'm forever dodging the cable now and miss having it hanging from the ceiling.

I tried ceiling hooks and found i got more tangled in the cable than with it on the floor where i could just step over it. Having been so used to having it on the floor, having it tug at the back of my head just felt weird and immersion breaking.

No as my vive is wireless

Missus has them after a mate recommended them. They both reckon it's better.
Audio headstrap certainly makes a difference too.

I think it depends on how much time and effort you put into setting it up. It took me a few days and a lot of trial and error to get it sorted. And I still tweak things every now and then. I never get tangled in the cable and the only time I feel it tugging the back of my head is when I am ducking or crouching in one particular corner of my play space.

I have my pulley system setup for about a year now and I think it's brilliant. I used the Midwec system, but the Kiwi system you are looking at looks a bit better. It has a few of the things I bought myself to make the Midwec system better like the 360 degree attachments.

Thanks for the replies guys. Definitely going to order some especially after my daughter tripped over the cable last night and smashed one of the touch controllers into the ground causing it to loose tracking for a few hours.
