Does anyone actively use a GPG key?

I keep meaning to get one sorted out, but apart from the sad Geek factor of having it I don't think it will get used, something else just to keep safe and not get round to using.

Is anyone else using? I know I can sign my emails etc with it but no-one I need to correspond with would have any need/use/idea what it was

I use it in emails where I know the other parties involved will know what a a GPG key is. My biggest problem with it is that I have to maintain a list of keys on every box I have. I suppose it's no big deal if you are like most folks who only use one or two computers, or perhaps if you have a traveling profile when you log into a terminal server.

Where I use it most is when I don't have to think about it much. My apt repositories are signed just like everybody else's so as to verify that the data I receive does what it says on the tin and I'm probably not falling victim to someone's shenanigans.

At work, yes we are required to. At home, nope.
