I've just quit a 60min Bioshock session since there is only so much my heart can take. I'm at the begining of the game and just got the shotgun. The part where you pick up the gun, the lights go out with the spotlight focussed on you with the zombies in the dark circling you is the most scary thing I've seen in a game. The even drag their weapons across the floor for added scare factor

The moment the lights went off and I heard them coming, I paused the game and litteraly swore at the screen for making me go through this :p

I don't even wanna think what else lies ahead. Some people say Dead Space is even more scary.

*stares wearily at the unopened Dead Space game next to the PC*

I actually find the gameplay so good that I didn't even noticed the resolution was set to 1024 x 768 instead of 1900 x 1200. It made the graphics looks crappy but I didn't even realise. I was too busy foccusing staying alive and getting away from baddies.

I'm a total wimp, and the part you mentioned where you fight a horde in the dark was heart-pumping, but as for the rest of the game, not scary at all. I dont think its meant to be though?

I think i did jump 1 or 2 times throughtout the game, but those were caused by moments where i do a 180 turn, and an enemy is right in my face. Happens in almost every fps i play though so they dont count :P

That's good. Last thing I need is to be scared playing a damn computer game :D
I don't mind having them rush at me from all directions, but for heavens sake, let me SEE them at least :p
