Games like MoH AA, where your 1 man behind enemy lines dealing out damage ? Instead of every WW2 game nowadays where entire squads are duking it out, i sorta miss the solo stuff 
Also, FPS's where you start from point A and the game ends at point B. 1 great big hike through an awesome game like Half-Life 1 and 2. None of this chopping up a game into multiple different regions which you just swap to after completing mission 1. You actually felt like you were travelling through somewhere.
And in general, games being made the way the devs want them made, and not the general public (first person ! cover system ! collect 30 items for achievement ! co-op or bust ! i have to learn something new ? screw that !).
