Does anyone else think this is weak sentence?

Claims she can't walk, claims £27,000 in benefits, admits it then gets a 9 months suspended sentence? isn't that very similar to just being let off completely?

So she's got £27,000 in her pocket and we've had to pay for the court case as well. Will she have to pay it back? I doubt it

Frankly, it's people like that who make life so difficult for people that are genuinely disabled - like my wife - and make it almost impossible for them to claim the DLA to which they're entitled.

Should be made to pay back all the money, all the court costs and spend some time in the slammer. So she's scared of it? Big deal! My wife's scared of every brown envelope from the council that comes through the door in case it's the one saying "we're taking your benefits away pending a medical review."

exactly, if someons is genuinely disabled then I've absolutely no problem with extra benefits being paid. It's scum like this who really annoy me, the money she's scammed could have gone to someone who actually deserved it.
