Does anyone else wish that RGB would just die?

I wrongly though it would just be a fad but it's still a massive market that doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon.

I've not seen a single thing with RGB that has impressed me, Lan lights that can't be disabled are bad enough.

No. The option is there, no one is forcing you to use it.

Enjoy :D

Doesnt really bother me, My system and desktop is full RGB through icue. 99.0% of the time everything is set to white but its nice to mess with

The thing that bugs me about all this RGB is every manufacturer insists you use their own app to control the lighting on their products and that app is usually bloated and buggy as hell such as Asus Armour Crate and Corsair's iCue. I gave up on all that nonsense after iCue (K95 Platinum Keyboard) caused some sort of conflict which kept crashing the pc and tried OpenRGB which worked well enough most of the time but then I found out I could control it all through Windows 11 Dynamic Lighting. It works ok most of the time but a couple of times a week it switches back to it's default rainbow vomit so I have to reset it to red again but it's not really a big deal. Microsoft needs to fine tune it a bit but that and the likes of OpenRGB I reckon is the way forward rather than a load of different manufacturers software on a pc all basically doing the same thing but only for their brands.

I’m old enough to remember when you got a couple of LED on the MB and a power button that lit up.

Having more colour choice is great, though I can see how trying to get everything emitting the exact same colour and intensity would drive folks insane.

Yeah, agreed, it's absolute nonsense and should be criminalised..

Enjoy..
