Does anyone ever steal your food/drinks from the staff fridge?

Seems to be constant problem at my workplace.

Someone put a note in the fridge yesterday that said

"Hands off you dirty theives. Buy your own and get lost."

and it was on top of a packet of chocolate buttons.

Little much calling the police. Just confront the person yourself. Unless that person was was an ass and was stealing just your food... then again, how would you prove to the police that the food was actually yours?
