The story is this.

I have a PC (AMD 64 3500 / 1GB ram / 6800GT) and
A laptop (Celeron M 1.8 / 700MB / rubbish onboard )

I dont really play games an awful lot anymore, save for older things (like red alert 2), world of warcraft, quake 4 and half life 2 / cs:s.
I find myself using my laptop more just to mess around on the net and stuff.

In the next couple of months i'm contemplating selling the lot and buying an decent spec laptop that'll play these games but also not be a brick.

I would be looking at spending £1500 absolute maximum.

I know for the money i'm paying I could get a monster desktop PC etc. etc, I'm not into overclocking anymore and I know upgradability goes out the window.
