Hi guys,
I've been working on my build recently, moving into a new box added extra ram and watercooling to my gpu... but first power on and I'm getting a code 00 on my asus mother board - this means the motherboard isn't being used (cpu isn't being accessed or not drawing enough power from psu)
the psu is a corsair ax1200i and it has a self test funtion which passes fine. I have tested with:
The only things I can do now is check with a different cpu and a different mobo to see which fails... so I'm hoping anyone here has a spare mobo or cpu I can borrow...
I hope it's not the mobo as it means a new mobo + cpu + cpu block + north and south bridge blocks... that was quite a lot of money

different sticks of ram in a single dimm slot
cleared cmos
removed gpu
switched slow mode to off (and on then off to be sure)
removed the cpu and checked for bent pins (all fine)
the tray is made of wood so there's no change of shorting
checked the 24 / 8 pins are all connected (all fine as this pc was working pre-op)
